One of the things I love about travelling because I truly love to travel is going to the beach. Here’s the 5 best places to travel that have both great beaches and a hoppin nightlife.
1. San Diego, California
You might be suprised to find this hot city as my number one best place to travel with an awesome beach and a great nightlife. But its true. And if you want both in the same strip then head on over to Pacific Beach. The beach is awesome filled with beautiful sand soaked people wearing well next to nothing and some really great bars. Be forewarned to bring a second form of ID if you don’t have a local drivers license. Otherwise you will be stuck in the high and dry in the bars.
2. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Myrtle Beach, SC is the best. Lots of clubs, shows, and shopping…great open beaches. There is a lot to do. I recommend visiting Broadway at the Beach. They have a variety of clubs. check out: www.broadwayatthebeach.com for more info.
3. The ‘West Coast’ of Michigan
Imagine a weeklong vacation spent lounging on a sandy beach in Florida, touring a Napa Valley winery, visiting an art gallery in New York, exploring a historic Cape Cod lighthouse and golfing surfside on Hilton Head Island.Sounds great — except for the expense, the complicated travel logistics and the exhaustion. Now imagine a leisurely vacation on the west coast of Michigan, where similar destinations are close enough to each other to be enjoyed in a lot less time, for a lot less money. It’s truly a hidden destination of choice for me. But don’t run around telling people that you can travel via train to get their and save money on a truly amazing vacation that makes you feel like you are in heaven.
4. Bermuda
Beautiful beaches and snorkeling with good night life in the Big Hotels.
When I visited here - Elbow Beach Hotel was a great hangout. Try for a Hotel on that side of the Island - that is where the good beaches are.
I’ve never been to number five so its all mere speculation and jealousy.
5. Oahu, Hawaii more specifically Waikiki Beach
Around the Waikiki Beach area, there are of course the beaches!!! Every beach on Oahu is public! And there is all kinds of nightlife, it all depends what kind of nightlife you are into! I’ve been told there is a restaurant called Dukes Canoe Club that has a great buffet breakfast, but I heard that it also has a lively nightlife. At most of the hotels, there is entertainment nightly.
Just about anywhere you look, there is nightlife. Did I mention the beaches?
