Ten Foot Square is an experiment in world travel. If you’re wondering whether the name has any significance, here’s the story.
Ten stands for ten regions of the world. We’re going to give you great information about 10 different desirable travel locations.
Foot stands for the adventure and excitement of travel. Whether it’s the countryside of France or the rain forrests of Guatemala, traveling on foot reminds us of the adventure we’re on in this life.
Square stands for the Earth which use to be thought of as a square (and our maps still make into a square). In fact, ancient texts often make reference to the four corners of the earth. But the four corners only represent the most exotic, far-reaching locations. Within the four corners of the earth there are many other squares.
Ten Foot (tall) stands for the fact that the world is bigger than any one person. We’re a global community. Traveling is about encountering the diversity and bigness of humanity.
Ten Foot Square is meant to help you discover the many adventures that the world holds in store for you as you travel its many locations. Along the way, you will encounter the best that humanity has to offer in all its diverse glory. So go ahead…travel to the four corners of the Earth…but don’t forget all the great stuff in between!
